Our [dual-servo label printing machine](https://www.zp-flexopress.com/product/flexo-label-printing-machine/) is currently in production for a customer printing [heat-shrink labels](https://www.zp-flexopress.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/shrink-sleeve-label-printing-guide.md) for [water bottles](https://www.zp-flexopress.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/label-printing-machine-for-bottles.md).

Because shrink film is highly sensitive to temperature, the material temperature must be controlled with great precision throughout the printing process. In particular, temperature differences between individual color stations need to be minimized to ensure consistent [printing quality](https://www.zp-flexopress.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/print-quality-management.md) and accurate color registration.

To address this challenge, we developed a **double-layer water-cooled roller with a specially designed internal flow channel**. Compared with a conventional single-layer structure, this design helps eliminate uneven temperatures caused by localized water turbulence while maintaining a stable and uniform cooling-water flow.

The double-layer water-cooled roller is a key component for maintaining stable print registration. Its advantages are especially noticeable when printing [thin-film materials](https://www.zp-flexopress.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/print-on-plastic-film-substrates-guide.md) such as **heat-shrink film**, where precise and uniform temperature control is essential for reducing material deformation and maintaining registration accuracy.
